The Horror of Learning a New Electronic Medical Record
Mister doctor eye doctor, spill the tea!! Also, as someone who wears glasses, my vision field sucks most of the time. But my eyes are too dry for contacts to be comfy (also astigmatism means they go a little out of focus whenever I blink, which gets SUPER annoying)
Kinda feeling Jimothy might be the silenced majority...
What the hell, is Mike cooking radioactive contrast ??? I can hear the geiger counter vibrating from here.
As I am watching this, my 79 year-old father is using a posthole digger to put up a 6x6" post in 90° weather for a new mailbox that someone hit last night. Our neighbor, whose mailbox was also hit, offered to dig it with his tractor and my old man said "for one post? I'll just dig it by hand."
Call me old fashioned..... don't put anything up your butt.
I wanna hear the rest of her video. What else did she have to say?
The ONLY thing "ensured" in the USA's present, "Winner take all" ("private") health "insurance" "system" (pardon all the quote marks!), is that WE (the American people) have rolled over and allowed our precious health to become merely another Profit Center for sociopathic billionaires. "Only in 'Murka."
Who knew that looking like a muppet would get so popular.
Covid had a >98% survival rate. For every sick person in the hospital many more lived and did well. When you’re around death all day one forgets that there is life in other places.
This is the PSA we need.
I think if the candy cane had a flared base we'd still have a problem
uh... I am old and was unaware that the current false eyelash trend was so non-temporary. In my day you bought them at the drugstore, they went on over your real lashes and everyone knew you were supposed to remove them every night. Probably still not without risk to your eyes, but my goodness I cannot imagine being convinced that you should attach something like that more durably to you eyelids. Kinda horrified about this tbh.
What are you doing dumbass, you never tell a woman to not put!,,,,,,,,
She’s terrifying
Jonathan woke up with "annoying Albert Leninger" on his to-do list . So he quietly sneaked in carbohydrate metabolism into his boss' revision topics list for today.
Pretty sure the candy cane will dissolve eventually 😂
Will you do a sketch on the effects of severe hypocaffienemia on healthcare workers?
Def malingering 😂
Ammmm I the only person asking how they got rhe candy cane in there.....without breaking it?
The fact that someone put a candy cane in their ass with the big end first without breaking it is insane.
I guess a lot of people never watched 1 Man 1 Jar growing up and it really shows. Honestly I miss the Internet of the 2000-2010s when there was still some wild frontiers
Guarantee they’re all men.. sick creatures. All of my granny’s daughters are nurses and the stories they’d tell.. 🤡💀
Here's a radical idea. Don't shove inanimate objects up your azz. Problem solved.
I like her can-do attitude.
That closeup was enough to keep me from getting false lashes💀🤢
Why do men?
As a guy with super dense and long eye lashes, I get all that gunk buildup too. Super annoying. Wish I could get eye lash reductions. lol
Yet these are the same people who vote against healthcare being cheaper or healthcare for all. Yet if this one domino falls over either by leaving or not accepting barter and trade (a foundational communist ideal) they would have nothing else to help them out
Ysdhhd
I lost beads DESIGNED to go in there!
I don't know how human being survived to this century tbh.
That “thermos” one was for sure a spray paint can.
Glueing anything to your body is a bad idea.
When I was at my first round of rural medicine, I knew very little of medical treatment, so all I was allowed to do were paper work of children who came for vaccination, some research interviewing and data analysis, and yes they didn't have any imaging equipment
Well the eyes have it Pathology and Tabitha … They are in “love”
I really loved getting them and I feel like a zombie without them but I once got periorbital cellulitis and my vision is forever worsened since. Your lashes and looking 20% better is not worth your vision. And hell if you're in a non government healthcare country, potential medical debt to treat the issues you'll inevitably get.
Capitalism at its best!
This is why I am so grateful that my husband has a medical reimbursement account through his union to supplement our insurance I get from my work. (My employer, majority of my medical care, and my medical insurance are all one company.) I said fuck it to my insurance, used the MRA and had my wheelchair in a month. I knew that because I am an ambulatory user, it would be an absolute nightmare trying to get them to cover it. (They already denied the medication I need for my autoimmune disorder *3 times* before they finally approved it.) It's almost as if this is a thing I need *now* so I can do things... like work my job...
I don't mind people wearing the glue on ones from time to time as you can take them off and keep things clean. The extensions not so much.
I spent 34 days in a teaching hospital last summer. I got to meet all the new baby doctors and countless residents. Mine was a difficult and unusual case, so EVERYBODY wanted to see me.
This is why I use the ones I take off at the end of the day instead, I dont want that junk on my eyes, thanks! The aestheticians tell people to keep them clean too but man. Yikes!
"so, what do you pay all that money for?" Well, damn good question... 🤔
xD You are so awesome! Dallas, TX
So if someone were to get a not densely packed not super long version it might not be as bad? Because these are extreme volume and they have a 1:1 ration so you get 1 added to each standard eyelash. I'm asking because I have an appointment scheduled for them for a wedding/vacation but I'm not planning on having them after that
Dang... I used to think they were pretty, I didn’t realize they were so gross & disgusting :o
It’s really scary how looking like a pantomime horse is becoming normal.
Visine applied liberally can handle all these situations.
Visine can’t fix a thing, and is not safe to be using liberally.
ER Spelunking. We used to have x-rays competitions to see which shifts would win the Dahmer award. Truly an amazing collection of peoples creative Idiocy/depravity.
Hey! I’m not looking for free medical advice, I have an eye doctor… but… I want to tell you about how I developed blindness! I had a ruptured brain aneurysm! And lived! You just never hear this. I’ve had my vision restored in one eye and am getting my vision restored in the other eye next month via vitrectomy. I think congratulations are in order for all you doctors out there. Good job, Dr. McFarland!!! (Or as we call you in private convo Dr. Brad Pitt. SO handsome!)
You need optic nerve to see the drive-way "can't argue that so I'll retreat"
